Just wanted to tell everyone a little story. ever since i got my new computer i've complained that it doesn't have any office software and that its all so expensive blablabla. so anyway, i'm working on the cd package designs this morning (the day before i ahave to print it) and, you guessed it, photoshop and illustrator both crash on me. (i just want to say that this was a program problem not a problem with the computer.) so then i'm scrambling to reinstall the programs and looking for the disks and guess what i find! AppleWorks 6, the mac affice suite, that grandma gave me two years ago. awesome! yes, i'm very happy about this, although a bit sheepish that its been sitting on my bookshelf in plain view for the last six months. and then i think, this sounds like something mom would do. heehee. thanks grandma!

ps, everything is working fine now, so i can finish this tonight. wish me luck!
