Hello Everyone,
I'm home from Illinois now and rested (somewhat). It seems that if I'm off the mountain for more than a week, I have to reacclimate to the altitude all over again when I return. We are still digging out from the last snowstorm. Even now, Vern is trying to dig out my little car, which was totally buried.
I had a great time with Mary and they family over Christmas. It's always so hard to leave. Thanks for the gifts, the companionship, the food, and the love. The memory keeps me warm.
Brother Dick and his Annie stopped by for breakfast Thursday morning. They were hurrying home from their California holiday and couldn't stay, but it was wonderful to see them, however briefly. Anyone interested can keep track with what Dick is up to by reading his weekly (Tuesdays) column in the McCook Daily Gazette titled "The Way I Saw It."
Love to all from
Virginia
