That photo was in Durango Fall 2005. Maya, I saw Chihuly's work several years ago in Omaha and was blown (no pun intended) away. I understand that he was blinded in one eye many years ago in an accident and cannot actually see to blow his own art forms but sketches what he wants and then somehow instructs his helpers how to create them. He has a huge studio on the waterfront in Seattle that I would love to visit. His glass is amazing. I love a ship load of it floating, floating.

Maya, Maya, what did you and Hank have for Thanksgiving Day dinner? Please tell me no tofurkey. After all, a thing is what it is, or it's not. Sorry about the iPod. I know how much you loved it. I looked at the new ones in California, but somehow it doesn't fit into my life. I'm still trying to learn cellphone.
