This is what I've been breaking my brain on recently. As you can see, I have connected the cable box, the receiver/amplifier, the vcr/dvd player, the tv and the tape deck into one seamless entertainment center.

We now hear in six-speaker surround and see in lcd flat-panel. All I lack at this point is a powered subwoofer. Whuppee-doo. It is said that I can connect my i-Book with all its beautiful features into the wiring nest and fully integrate the system into the remote so that in order to fully live, I will never have to get up from the couch at all (exclamation point).
